My name is Selina, and Aguilar is more than just a brand—it's a part of who we are. The name comes from my mom’s maiden name, Carolina Aguilar, and it symbolizes everything this journey means to us: strength, freedom, and deep-rooted family ties.

My mom and I started Aguilar Store together in 2022 as a way to honor our French-Mexican heritage and bring something meaningful into the world. Growing up between the vibrant chaos of Mexico City and the timeless elegance of Paris, I was lucky to be surrounded by two cultures that shaped my sense of style, values, and identity.

From the beginning, we knew we wanted to do things differently. Every piece you’ll find here is handcrafted in Mexico by talented local artisans who pour their heart and soul into what they do. We use organic fabrics and work in small batches—because to us, it’s never been about fast fashion. It’s about quality, sustainability, and creating something with intention.
